One of the most common questions we hear is "What size unit should I rent?" Many people find it difficult to estimate how much storage space they are going to need.  Below is a quick sizing guide that helps people determine what unit is best for for there needs.

5' x 5' Unit
This unit is 25 square feet.  Holds a chest of drawers, office file boxes, chairs, clothing, tall items like lamps and coat racks.


10' x 5' Unit

This unit is 50 square feet and will store a sofa, chair, dresser, and mattress set in addition about 10 - 15 boxes and small items.


5' x 15' Unit
Holds much of the contents of a small one bedroom apartment, excluding major appliances.


10' x 10' Unit
This unit is 100 square feet of space. It will generally hold the furnishings of a one-bedroom apartment: approximately three rooms of furniture, boxes of smaller items, and possibly appliances.


10' x 15' Unit
This unit is 150 square feet of space, will house the furnishings of a two-bedroom sized apartment or small house. This unit will generally hold all furnishings and personal effects, with or without major appliances


10' x 20' Unit
This unit is 200 square feet of space allow storage for a small house, apartment or townhouse, including appliances.
